Young to old vote across all panchayats

Less number of people came out to vote in the second phase of panchayat elections, but the enthusiasm among those who voted was across the age groups.
As usual from youngsters to the age old people.
Candidates of Chandor village were happy with the turnout. It was only in one ward of Cavorem. Also one wardd of Kirbhat in Nuvem panchayat. But in Betalbatim, elections were in two wards – 5 & 7.
Ward no 5 of Advalpal was the only panchayat in Bicholim taluka with a triangular fight. The turnout was also good.
Special facilities were arranged for senior citizens at the polling station.
In Bardez, one ward each of Bastora Panchayat and Anjunapanchayatswent for polls. Dinesh Patil and DnyaneshwarMorajkar had approached the court on the issue of reserved wards.
