White dress code blacks out around 100 airport taxis

Passengers arriving at Dabolim Airport were put to inconvenience on Thursday due to non availability of enough taxis.



The taxi drivers were asked to wear white uniform but some taxi drivers were not able to get their uniform ready on the first of June. 


The problem started after the tourist taxi union of Dabolim airport implemented its general body decision and stopped the allotment of client to the drivers who were not wearing white uniform on the first of June.


The move affected about 100 taxis


The president of prepaid airport taxi counter said the decision to make white uniform compulsory should be obeyed byu taxi drivers.
