What happens when a video of minister’s car violating rules goes viral…

The social media caught a minister’s car violating traffic rules. As the video of this went viral, the RTO moved into action and fined the driver of 600 rupees.



It was the official car of Goa Forward minister Vinod Palayekar, which overtook a car on the Mandovi bridge. Palayekar himself moved forward to take action.


Watch this car. GA-06-G-8888. It’s used by WRD minister Vinod Palayekar.


But he was not in the car. He is out of station. Watch this. He is cooly overtaking a car. And this is the board, which shows that the overtaking is banned.


 As the video of the car went viral on Friday, Palayekar himself put it on Facebook that he has directed transport department to issue challan to his driver.


Accordingly, the enforcement wing of the transport department immediately issued a challan to the Secretary of the General Administration Department. The fine would be collected by Monday.
