Weigh your gas cylinders, warns NGO

An NGO has alleged that there is a big scam in weight of Gas cylinders and filed a complaint with the director of civil supplies about it.

LPG cylinders are used in most middle class homes today.

Tara Kerkar of NGO Savera said that she has complained to the Director of Civil Supplies Department and he has promised to take action.

She says that her allegation has been proven by the nabbing of some people emptying cylinders in Benaulim a couple of days back. 

She has threatened that if no action is forthcoming then she will lead a morcha to the director’s office.
