Vishwajeet withdraws plaint against ‘abusive’ women

According to him, they needed some other help.

The minister was verbally abused by two women during his inspection of the Hospicio Hospital in Margao on Sunday.

Before abusing the minister, the women had first verbally attacked a security guard at the Hospicio.

The health minister has also decided to give all the administrative powers of the GMC hospital to the newly appointed medical superintendent Dr S Bandekar.

The Dean would henceforth look after only the GMC College.

The minister also said that the Deen Dayal Swastha Seva Yojana or universal medical scheme would be tweaked and the work on that was on.
