Trawler owners cross swords with Ramponkar, support fishing jetty

Goa Fishing Boat Owners Association of Vasco on Thursday asserted that they will not allow anyone to stall the fishing jetty project as part of Vasco bay development plan.
However, they have left the door open to amicably settle the
issue with traditional fishermen, the Ramponkar.
The fishing boat owners were reacting to the statement of canoe owners opposing the development of the Vasco bay.
The fishing boat owners said that they have been struggling since past 40 years to have a new fishing jetty.
Hence they would not allow anyone to create obstacles for the fishing jetty project.
