Traffic violators fined in Madgao, RTO on toes issuing challans

The RTO conducted a safety and awareness drive at KTC bus stand in Madgao on Saturday.

After the rise in fatal accidents in the state, the RTOs are on their toes to bring discipline in traffic and ensure that no one violates the traffic rules.

The RTO in Madgao issued challans to traffic violators such as to riders who did not wear a helmet while riding and to drivers who did not wear a seat belt.

RTO officer Santosh Marathe explained the importance of traffic rules and also how the RTO is trying to safe guard and protect the commuters.
