Surprise checks on gas agencies held

Following a recent expose on the pilferage of gas from cylinders in south Goa, officials of Vasco legal metrology along with the officials of Vasco Civil Supplies and Mamledar conducted surprise check at few Gas agency.

In the joint surprise check, the officials checked each and every gas cylinders that were loaded for delivery to customers and found that almost all the gas cylinders checked were having normal gas filled inside the cylinder.

 Speaking to media officials from Legal metrology and civil supplies said that they would continue similar surprise checks even in future.
