Street Volunteers helping destitute to face life independently

24 Oct 2017 09:34 PM

A NGO has come forward to help the people living on the streets. They not only provide them basic amenities and shelter, but also make them independently live their life.

Donald Fernandes is a member of this NGO who runs the programme called Street Providence.

They pick up the abandoned people from the street, provide them food and clothing as well as accommodation and also provide them technical training.

For this, the NGO has set up food bank, clothes bans and a blood bank to help the destitute. They also want to start a medicine bank in the near future for the destitute.
