Run for Unity held all over the state

Sardar Vallabhbhai played an important in the integration of the country. He was the one to get all the princely states to join the Indian union.

The Run in Panjim near Azad Maidan was flagged off by Panji MLA and Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

In Madgao the Run for unity was organized at the South Goa collectorate. Many students and locals from Madgao took part in this program.

In Vasco the run started from Custom house in Murgao to Naval Battery station, sada and back. It was a total 4.5 kms run.

Present for the Run was former Mandrem MLA and CM Laxmikant Parsekar.
