Rising burglaries, desecration not a police failure: DIG

Deputy Inspector General of police Bhupendra Kumar has debunked the notion that crimes like burglaries and desecration of religious shrines are one rise because the police force is insufficient.



He has also denied the charge that the police have failed in controlling such incidents.

The police department had a meeting of the important police personnel from the whole of South Goa on Tuesday at Ravindra Bhavan in Madgao.

It was chaired by DIG BhupendraKumat and attended by the police officers as well as other police personnel.

The meeting became signification on the background of sudden rise of burglaries as well as desecration of religious shrines in Salcete taluka.

And this is how the DIG reacted.
