Rallies held in Madgao & Pedne protesting murder of Gauri Lankesh

Several NGOs organized a protest rally against the killing of Bangalore-based journalist Gauri Lankesh  in Margao on Thursday.

Similar protest was also held in Pedne on Thursday evening.

Organizations such as Bailancho Ekvott, Popular Front of india, National Women’s Front and activists organized the rally. 

  They said despite murders of prominent personalities such as Govind Pansare, MM Kalburgi and Narendra Dabholkar,  not a single case has been solved so far.
