Ponda to get Sewerage Treatment Plant in a year: Sudin

PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has assured on the floor of the house. He has also given an assurance to solve the issue of water shortage in Cancon taluka.

PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar was replying to a question by Ponda MLA Ravi Naik on the issue of ongoing process of installing pipelines for the Sewarage Treatment Plant in Daag Ponda.

Similarly, household connections of the existing sewerage treatment plant in Margao and adjoining areas like Navelim and Curtorim will be allotted in next one year.

Cancona MLA Isidore Fernandes had also asked a question regarding water shortage in Cancona.

Minister Dhavalikar informed about several difficulties which lead to shortage of water.
