Panchayats elect Biodiversity teams

Special gram sabhas were held all over the state on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Biodiversity committees were formed in every panchayat on this occasion.
All seven Panchayats under Mormugao Taluka on Monday elected village biodiversity committees during the special Gram Sabha Meeting held in respective panchayats.
Except for Cansaulim Arrossim and Cuelim all other six panchayats unanimously elected the village biodiversity committee and in Cansaulim the committee was elected by voting and amidst uproar and chaos.
