All 5 members of Advalpal Panchayatin Bicholim belong to the BJP. Narayan Salgaonkar was elected as Sarpanch and Deepali Gaonkar as deputy Sarpanch. There is no opposition.

Penha da Franca was the replica of the state Assembly. They fought against each other and 8 members of the panel supported by minister Rohan Khaunte got elected.

3 panchas of the BJP were elected. They have now supported Khaunte-supported Sarpanch Swapnil Chodankar and deputy Sarpanch Manisha Naik. This panchayat also has no opposition.

Costancio Miranda and Minu Fernandes were elected as sarpanch and deputy in Betalbatim while Brezy Barretto and Manuel Borges were elected as sarpanch and deputy sarpanch in Nuvem respectively.

Both these panchayats are backed by local MLA Wilfred D’sa, his opponent former MLA Micckey Pacheco has demanded recounting of wards in these panchayats.

The trend of unopposed elections continued in Sancoale where Girish Pillai and Nandini Dessai were elected sarpanch and deputy sarpanch, the panchayat has been supported by local MLA Alina Saldhana.
