Keri Ponda adopted under ‘Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana’

North Goa MP & Ayush Minister Shripad Naik has taken the initiative to develop the village of Keri under this scheme.

More emphasis will be given on aspects of development in agriculture.

The first meeting with respect to this decision was convened by the Ponda Deputy Collector on Wednesday.

Representatives of various concerned departments and Village Panchayat members were present for the meeting.

Department of Rural Development will chalk out a comprehensive plan for the development of the village.

Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development will also have a huge role in carrying out surveys and studies regarding the development plans.
