A young rider has exposed Goa’s traffic police, who are issuing challans for the crime they did not commit.

A video produced by a two wheeler rider shows that he was fined for not wearing a helmet, when actually he was wearing it.

Almost four policemen were camping at Banastari junction on Tuesday.

According to Maksun Khan, he was stopped under the pretext that his number plate is not in order.

And when he was issued a challan, he found that it was for not wearing the helmet. Which he was actually wearing.

He thus went to argue with the police and his friend captured this whole incident on the mobile phone. Watch it.

The SP of Traffic cell had issued a circular last week, assuring to take action against the policemen if they were stopped without a valid reason.

Goa365 is bringing one such incident, which needs investigation by the higher authorities. The ball is now in the court of the SP Traffic Cell.
