Green travel: Govt to get 40 more biogas buses

KTC Chairman and Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida said that after successful completion of trial period of three months, the state government will procure 40 green buses.
He was at the trial run of the green bus held at Vasco on Thursday.
Carlos said that the Green bus is the brain child of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and the main aim behind procurement of green buses is to promote Goa as clean and green destination to tourists.
He said that KTC has decided to run green buses from the airport to Panaji and to the tourist destinations of the state. the green buses run on bio fuel and ethanol.
