Tamil Nadu passed the Jallikattu bill and now Karnataka Assembly has also passed a bill allowing Kambala.

Both involve cultural tradition of sports of animals. In view of this, Goa’s Dhiryo lovers are preparing to get the bill passed once Goa’s new Assembly gets elected.

All the three events were earlier banned by the state high courts as well as the supreme court.

Simon Caido is just not one of the candidates in St Andre. He has been ardent lover of Dhiryo and was nourishing many bulls for the bull fights. So was the political heavyweight Churchill Alemao. Ben Anjales from Benaulim still has a he buffalow, which he proudly displays.

They are all charged up with Jallikattu and Kambala being allowed by Tamil Nadu and Karnataka government. And President of India has given his assent to the Tamil Nadu bill.

They are thus waiting for the new Assembly getting constituted, so that the Dhiryo bill would also be passed.
