Goa Forward takes Cipla to task for ignoring Goan youth

Goa Forward Party has asked the Chief Minister to intervene with a pharmaceutical company to employ Goan youth. The company has recently advertised in Karnataka for jobs in their Goa-based unit.



Goa Forward Party chief spokesperson Trojano D’Mello said TCP Minister and party president Vijai Sardessai has already spoken to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar to intervene and speak to  the management of Cipla pharmaceutical company to warn about its anti- goa policy.

Goa Forward has warned Cipla to advertise their vacancies in Goa and give preference to Goans for jobs in their unit.

Minister of Factories and Boilers Vijai Sardessai  said the industries in Goa are being given incentives by the government and they should employ Goans.
