Fisheries minister to conduct survey at Malim jetty

He said the fisheries department will conduct a survey of the jetty and clear the encroachments.

He also said that illegal activity such as the fish stalls at the jetty will be stopped.   

The minister inspected the jetty and had a look at the fish stalls.

He said a survey will be conducted of the jetty area and the area belonging to the department will be fenced off.

Former chairman of Mandovi Fishermen marketing cooperative society limited  Menino Afonso, however, said the fishermen have developed the area spending their own money.

He suggested that whatever is illegal should be legalized.
