Dona Paula – Vasco ferry to start in Jan

Dona Paula to Vasco ferry passenger service may start in January 2018 if all goes well. The ferry will take just 20 minutes.

The fare is tentatively fixed at 100 rupees. The Panaji to Vasco bus service takes about an hour or so..

Mormugao Port Trust has awarded the contract to run the ferry to Drishti Marine Solutions Pvt Ltd of Mumbai.

The people of Vasco are excited at the prospects of commuting to Panaji faster which will also attract more tourists to Vasco.
