Divided with cupboards, they study in one hall in Mulgao school

The government’s stated mantra is that it wants to impart quality education.



But still 75 students from Government High School at Shirodwadi, Mulgao are studying from classes first to 10th in room partitioned by Godrej cupboards, with no labs or buses.

The school was started in 1964 and is the only high school in the area. But the situation is so bad that there are at least four classrooms in one hall.

Many students have now diverted to other schools in Bicholim and Assnora due to lack of facility in this government school even though they are far away from where they reside.
