Desterro parishioners in Vasco object to new demarcation of church property

The Parishioners of Our Lady of Desterro in Vasco on Thursday raised their objections to the MPT’s attempt to seek demarcation of boundary line between MPT and Church property.

They assert that the church has clear title deed but the  MPT is trying to make undue claims. The MPT, however, denies this.

The parishioners addressed newsmen after holding a token protest near Church.  The parishioners claimed that they had purchased the land from the government and had built the church in it.

However, the MPT is now trying to grab the church land by making false claims.
