The villagers of the submerged village of Curdi Sanguem had a second reunion in 2 weeks.

The villagers had organized a special mass on account of Feast on Sunday at the chapel they have built over the hillock in their old village.

This place which is otherwise covered entirely with water as part of salaulim dam reservoir is accessible only in the month of May when the water level goes below the normal filled up mark.

Villagers who are scattered in and out of the state come to their village in large numbers.

On Sunday villagers and people from all over the state visited the site in large numbers. Many of the Curdikars irrespective of their religions participated in the special mass which was held on Sunday.

Previously the curdikars had unitedly celebrated the vardhapandin of the old someshwar temple in the village on last Sunday.
