Coast guard holds training programme for Coastal police

Officials started the training session in basic seamanship for first batch of Goa Police out of total eight batches was slated. 

Following a request from the Goa Police, Indian Coast Guard officials based at the Goa unit decided to provide specialized training on how to handle vessels in the high seas to policemen deployed at Coastal Police station.

Goa Coast guard DIG Manoj Badkar spoke about the training session and the moto behind this initiative.
