BJP leader Hoble booked for dowry harassment & assault

Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s vice president Anil Hoble is booked by Goa police for harassing his daughter-in-law for dowry.



Hoble however is calls it a political conspiracy. He is yet to be arrested, along with his wife and son.

The parents of the daughter-in-law came down from Mumbai and filed the complaint at Panaji women’s police station on Wednesday.

Her lawyer Aires Rodrigues said they were not allowed to meet her daughter. The police went to Hoble’s house and brought the girl.

Hoble and his wife Sandhya and son Milind were also summoned to the police station.

The matter is being investigated by PI Sudaksha Naik.

Hoble was interrogated by the police.

Later he as well his lawyer Adv Amit Palekar told the media that it was a political conspiracy.

However, when he was asked whether he knew anything about injuries on his daughter in law, he said he was not aware of anything.

 Newly-appointed Congress Mahila President Pratima Coutinho said that she would offer all support to the daughter in law of BJP VP Anil Hoble.
