Ayush doctors to be posted at all PHCs: Shripad

Ayush Budget is going to be doubled, and PHCs will get doctors trained in Homeopathy Union Ayush Minister Shripad Naik said on Sunday.
He was speaking at the valedictory function of the 20th All India Homeopathic Seminar at Margao.
Shripad said that the government was thinking of debuting Homeopathic doctors to all PHCs and training them in dispensation of certain important non-homeopathic drugs.
He also said that they are expecting the 1000 crore rupees budget to the ministry to be doubled this year and in that case, he would also double the allotment for Homeopathy.
The Ayush minister said that they had signed MOUs with reputed institutions throughout the globe to ensure exchange and interaction in a bid to conduct joint research and exchange programmes.
