Assembly pays tributes to Monica Dias

Goa Forward party senior vice president  Monica Dias  passed away in Mumbai on Monday.

She was admitted at Lilavati hospital for bypass surgery around 10 days back.

Monica was a former national general secretary of Mahila Congress. She was also chairperson of Margao Municipal Council.

She had joined Goa Forward Party after the new party was formed. She was appointed the chairman of Khadi Corporation and khadi board.

Monica is survived by two sons, a daughter and her husband. Goa Legislative assembly passed a condolence motion paying its tributes to her.
