A family in Naveli gets electricity connection after 30 years

The faces of the family members lit up after seeing proper light in their house.

 John  D Souza and his family got the electricity  connection after 30 years. 

Their ward panch   Babush  Coelho  took the initiative and  obtained a no objection certificate from the land lord.  

John and Shanti  have been living in  their house with their three children in Naveli for the past 30 years.

The land does not belong to them. But several MLAs came and went but nobody thought of going out of the way to help them.

Their children studied under the flame of kerosene lamps. 

Finally, the  newly elected panch came to their rescue.

Now that there is light in their house,  the family is happy.
