1000 PWD tanks lie unused, rejected

This is a colossal waste of public money. Around 1000 water tanks procured using public funds have been left to rot on top of a hill as another unending inquiry into corruption is going on for the past 6 years.

Will these tanks be used at least now or will they end up as scrap and more public money poured down the drain.

Around 1,000 water tanks of 500 litres each were procured some 6 years back. All these are now lying unused on top of Consua hill since they cannot be distributed to the people because of an inquiry initiated by the government.

Now the question is whether these can be used under the new proposed scheme announced by PWD minister Sudin Dhavalikar or if he will float a new tender.
