10 108 ambulances launched; cardiac-care ambulances by October; health minister warns 108 employees not to be lax

Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane has warned employees of 108 ambulance service.
He has said that their services could be terminated if they are not prompt in rendering emergency services.
Vishwajeet informed that 6 cardiac care ambulances manned by a doctor will be launched by October.
He said all the ambulances will be monitored through GPS system.
The Health Minister was speaking to media persons on the sideline of launching 10 new 108 ambulances in the presence of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar at Altinho on Tuesday.
The government will launch 6 cardiac care ambulances by September or October and place them at various strategic locations.
