Indian Meteorological Department on Tuesday said the monsoons arrival in Goa might be delayed by another three to four days due to cyclonic disturbances.

Monsoon had already arrived in Kerala on 30th of May.

Director of MET DepartmentM L Sahu said it slowed down because of energy used by the Mora cyclone in Bay of Bengal.

He had earlier predicted to hit Goan coast by 6th of June. But it’s now delayed further.

Meanwhile, it’s already raining in some parts of Goa. And we may see more moderate rain and thundershowers for the next three to four days, till monsoon officially arrives.
