Boys equate with Girls in 91.57% SSC result

25 May 2017 09:06 PM

The SSC results are out. And the only specialty this year is that boys have scored equally well in line with the girls, which was not the scenario for many years.

The 91.6 per cent result this year is hardly half a per cent more than the last year. But the good news is that the failed students can answer supplementary exams for all the subjects they have failed.

Goa Board Chairman Jose Remedios Rebello says that the SSC result is an improvement every year. Last year, it was nearly 91 per cent. And this year it’s 91 and a half per cent. But comparatively, around 1000 less students appeared for the exam. And around 900 less students passed than last year. 18 thousand last year and around 17 thousand one hundred this year.
