Govt to abolish Contractual recruitment system, new policy in 4 months

Goa Government is in process of doing away with contractual recruitment system. Goa government is drafting a new policy for regularizing the temporary workers across the departments currently working in the Government service.

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar informed the assembly regarding the new policy while responding to a question from Kudchade MLA Nilesh Cabral on Temporary Status Labourers.

He also informed that the 7^th pay commission recommendations will be applied to all the corporations and autonomous bodies who are dependent on the Government grants.
