Govt hopes to shift grounded Casino vessel by Fri

The stranded casino vessel Lucky 7 is to be towed out by Friday, ifthe authorities are to be believed.



On this day the tide is at its highest and this would allow a tug to tow it to a dry dock where it can be repaired.

The boat sits like an eyesore on the Miramar beach. During the night it is fully lit. As if already preparing to welcome guests.

During the day it is a monument for tourists. And Probably one of the must see and must take selfie spots in Goa. The vessel slated to become a floating casino ran aground a couple of weeks ago.

And Amidst the blame game, the authorities are struggling to remove the grounded vessel.  

However, captain of ports, Captain James Braganza said that he was optimistic that the boat would be removed from the beach and there would be no long term damage to the beach.
