Rape accused arrested in Margao, NGOs demand strict action

Various NGOs have demanded immediate action in this case on the accused.

The Margao Police acted on a zero registered FIR which was filed in Dharavi Mumbai by the local Police.

It was transferred to Margao Police since the alleged incident took place on 3^rd of July in Goa while the victim was on a trip to Goa with her mother. 

Various NGOs and students were shaken up with the news.

They approached the police station on Thursday and demanded immediate action in this matter.
