A mechanic shoots a mason dead in Navelim bar

A mason was shot dead in a bar at Shantinagar in Navelim on Tuesday. Two men were sitting in a bar nursing their drinks. Suddenly, a man pulled out his gun and shot a man dead sitting opposite him.

The victim has been identified as Abdul Qadar and   mason by profession. The suspect is said to be a mechanic and identified as Chhotu.

Chhotu fled from the scene after committing the crime. Police came to the crime scene and conducted the panchanama and took finger prints. 

Margao police inspector said it appears both, the  victim and  the shooter knew each other.   

The owner of the bar informed that both the killer and the victim were regular visitors to his bar.
