3 arrested for burglary in Margao, Vasco

Police arrested three persons on Saturday, one is an accused of robbing a mobile phone from the office of Goa women commission in Vasco while the other two have been accused of snatching a mobile phone at Madgao.

 In first case that happened at the Goa women commission’s office on Friday, the mobile phone of the assistant to its chairperson Advocate Vidya Shet was allegedly stolen by the accused. 

Based on CCTV footage the Vasco police identified the accused as Hussein Shaikh and nabbed him from his residence at new Vaddem.  Mobile has been seized the mobile.

In second case, the Vasco railway police on Saturday arrested two persons Rajesh Kerkatta and Sagar kerkatta, both from jharkhand for robbing a mobile phone from a passenger travelling by the Amravati express. 

A complaint was lodged by the passenger that some unknown accused robbed his mobile phone from inside the moving train and then absconded from the scene. After following up on some leads, the Railway police nabbed one of the accused who confessed.
