2 supari killers nabbed before killing a hotelier, hunting for masterminds

He along with his accomplices from UP, Delhi and Haryana were contracted to assassinate a hotelier from Anjuna. Based on inputs from him, police raided a shop in Calangute and arrested another person.

6 Pistols and 26 live rounds were recovered from their person as well as their belongings. Police are on the lookout of others including those who commissioned the hit. 

Organised crime has always lurked in the background especially on the North Goa coastal belt because of the huge amounts of money involved in mostly land transactions.

To avoid paying what is due to locals many times people from metros like Delhi and Mumbai have preferred to intimidate and threaten and even sometimes kill. Now one such incident has come into the open.

Police say that the people who commissioned the hit owned the hotelier money. But instead of paying him they preferred to hire killers from UP, Delhi and Haryana to get rid of him at the worst or threaten him at the earliest.
